Applying the Exceptions to Minnesota’s Open Meeting Law

Since the open meeting law was enacted in 1957, many exceptions to the law have been adopted, either in statutes or by the courts. Properly applying these exceptions can often be challenging, as reflected in the many court decisions and advisory opinions construing them. Presenter, Mark Anfinson, who has litigated numerous open meeting law cases, will explore the drama surrounding the major exceptions to the open meeting law, and he will provide practice tips and insights for navigating this intricate set of statutes and precedents.

– Mark R. Anfinson; Attorney at Law
