PROGRAM ASSISTANT

Minnesota Continuing Legal Education, a nationally recognized, award-winning CLE organization, is seeking candidates for Program Assistant, a full-time position responsible for providing dependable administrative support to our attorneys in the development of continuing legal education seminars.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides general administrative support to Program Attorneys
  • Maintains complete and accurate document and files for every seminar conducted and project managed by Program Attorney/s
  • Communicates with seminar faculty regarding seminar details per Program Attorney specifications – correspondence with regard to written materials, A/V needs, seminar logistics, special requests
  • Works as needed with faculty regarding remote presentation logistics
  • Organizes and coordinates seminar event activities with meeting facility personnel and with Conference Center staff
  • Collects and approves seminar-related invoices for payment
  • Compiles and prepares written seminar materials for printing and posting
  • Attends event to participate as faculty greeter
  • Provides on-site registration assistance at programs as needed
  • Manages, independently, some projects, as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be comfortable dealing directly with attorneys, judges and bar leaders and other professionals
  • Must be able to contribute to and work effectively on a team
  • Must be sensitive to organizational and interpersonal dynamics
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks within multiple projects on different timelines

Annual salary is low 40s DOE.
