Foundations of Evidence: Privilege

Originally scheduled for October 30, 2019; Rescheduled for November 8, 2019

Minnesota’s privilege statute is intended to protect special relationships that are based upon confidentiality, free communication, and trust; however, this protection is not unbridled. The courts will and do control the applicability of privileges. This presentation addresses Minnesota’s privilege statute, the Minnesota courts’ interpretation of it, and federal treatment of the various privileges.

All attendees will receive a 1-month subscription to the LinkedLaw edition of Minnesota CLE’s Minnesota Courtroom Evidence Deskbook.
