This session introduces attorneys of all experience levels to Collaborative Law as a distinct model of practice. You will start by gaining clarity on the core distinctions that define Collaborative Law including considerations on when it might be more appropriate than traditional representation, and when it might not. You will leave with actionable strategies and tools to begin offering Collaborative Law, including:

  • Consultation frameworks for presenting process options objectively and ethically 
  • Steps to integrate Collaborative Law into an existing family law practice without overhauling the current business model 
  • Marketing language and positioning to present Collaborative Law as part of a comprehensive, client-centered menu of services
