Ever changing laws and regulations, increasingly informed clients, an ever-evolving competitive job market, new technologies, clients’ reluctance to spend money on legal services, long hours…Being a lawyer is a challenging endeavor! With all of these demands, how do you successfully practice law and have a life beyond work? In this context it is not hard to see that mental fitness and positivity are not an option but a “must.”
This presentation dives into the science and the practical application of the power of positive thinking and acting. The nature and quality of your mindset and your thoughts play a big role, as do your “mental fitness practices.” To ensure that we’re not just thinking positively, this session dives into proven practices of positive thinking and acting and it provides you with suggestions to prevent those very human tendencies that may keep you from thinking and acting in a realistically positive manner. You will gain insights from renowned experts such as Martin Seligman, Carol Dweck, and Albert Ellis.
