In this program, Shannon Hoagland discusses the benefits and risks of using letters of intent as a preliminary step in a transaction and how to use them as a prelude to a binding purchase agreement. Shannon will also explain alternatives for when a seller is not quite ready to sell, including option agreements, rights of first refusal, and rights of first offer. Shannon will cover both general concepts and specific key language, including sample provisions.
