2026 Workers’ Compensation Deskbook Seminar

A “Can’t Miss Event” Celebrating More Than 30 Years of Insights from Jay Hartman and Thomas Mottaz

Don’t miss the last Hartman and Mottaz Case Law Update!

Jay Hartman and Thomas Mottaz are the creators of the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Deskbook which was released in February 1993. Since the beginning they have been the editors in addition to writing Deskbook chapters themselves. Every year between new editions of the Deskbook, they updated the Deskbook with the latest case law and other workers’ compensation law changes.

Beginning in 1993, Jay and Tom chaired this Deskbook seminar and provided various updates each year. Their presentation was first officially called the “Hartman & Mottaz Case Update” in 2004. And now, after many years of giving their incredibly helpful and fun case update, Jay and Tom are presenting their last case update session!

Don’t miss this year’s event – it will be very special and more fun than ever before!
