Experienced environmental law practitioner Joe Maternowski and environmental consultant Dana Wagner will review the environmental issues that are often encountered by business and real estate practitioners in assisting clients. Presenters will first provide an overview of federal, state and local environmental laws, reporting requirements and permitting and enforcement matters that affect businesses. Presenters will then discuss the handling of environmental due diligence issues that arise in business and real estate transactions, the process of assessing and cleaning up sites and best practices for clients to limit their environmental liability.
