This session provides a practical introduction to accounting principles and financial statements tailored for attorneys. Learn how to read and interpret the three core financial statements – income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows – as well as the relationship between accounting records, tax returns, and financial statements. Attendees will gain foundational knowledge to improve their understanding of financial information in the context of business transactions, disputes, and legal decision-making.
