Special Issues when Buying and Selling Townhomes and Condos

This session will review the particular considerations and issues to be addressed when buying or selling a townhome or condominium in Minnesota. These considerations include the differences between townhomes and condominiums, the applicability of the Minnesota Common Interest Ownership Act (Minn. Stat. Ch 515B), certain disclosures that must be made by the common interest community association prior to the sale of a townhome or condominium and a buyer’s right to rescind the purchase agreement.
