Major changes to Minnesota laws regarding the involvement of relatives/kin in foster care and adoption proceedings were signed in to law on June 2, 2022 and go into effect this year. This course will explain the process, legal standards, and strategies for involving and representing relatives/kin in child welfare proceedings.
