The new administration augurs a shift in antitrust enforcement priorities, and high-profile antitrust suits continue to make headlines. It has never been more important for in-house counsel and business leaders to reconnoiter the evolving landscape of antitrust law, as well as the principles of an effective compliance program. In this seminar, participants will gain an understanding of substantive antitrust law with a focus on potential issue spotting for in-house counsel. Participants will also learn what to consider when constructing an effective compliance program with an eye towards enforcement priorities under the Biden administration. Finally, participants will learn about the cartel leniency programs offered by the DOJ and the European Commission and the requirements to qualify.
