There is a strong interrelationship between criminal law and immigration law and understanding this connection is extremely important for practitioners in both fields. This presentation will highlight this relationship with a look at the basics of representing clients in removal proceedings in Immigration Court as well as a detailed discussion of Cancellation of Removal, one of the possible defenses to removal.
