The 2019 Novel Coronavirus is all over the news. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have issued a level 3 warning advising people to avoid any nonessential travel to China, and multiple cases have now been reported in the United States. Beyond the basic concern for human safety and general welfare, many employers are now faced with decisions on how to address employee concerns and how to protect their employees from the virus while also remaining in compliance with the law. This presentation is designed to address key employment law questions related to the Coronavirus.
