A great deal of energy goes into the negotiation of a commercial lease, but that is only the beginning of the landlord-tenant relationship. Thereafter, premises are modified or relocated, lease terms are extended, tenants have financing needs related to their premises, leases are assigned, leases are terminated, etc. The careful documentation of agreements related to all these topics can have a material impact on your client’s administration of the lease and have an impact on the value of that lease agreement when your client markets the property for sale. This presentation covers practice tips for drafting agreements following the execution of a commercial lease. All attendees receive a free Summary Guide to Commercial Leasing.
