This presentation will help you better understand how landlords and tenants view the economics of commercial leases, which in turn will help you with drafting and negotiating commercial leases. You’ll gain a basic understanding of the real cost implications of leasing allowances, free rent, commissions, operating expenses, taxes, gross-up provisions, rent adjustments, and more – while being better able to communicate with your client the actual size of the space rented by understanding gross area, rentable area, usable area, and the BOMA standards.
