Advising Employers: New Minnesota and Minneapolis Wage Theft Laws

Minnesota employers must now comply with Minnesota’s new wage theft law, which took effect July 1, 2019. On top of that, Minneapolis recently passed its own wage theft ordinance, effective January 1, 2020. These laws impose several new requirements on employers, both large and small. Join Lenny Segal, MSBA Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist, for a review of these new laws and learn how to advise employers to ensure their compliance.
