New Minnesota Cannabis Law – What Employers Need to Know About Cannabis Testing of Employees, Discipline, and On-Premises Possession
First it was illegal across the board, then it was approved for certain medicinal purposes, and now adult recreational cannabis use is legal in Minnesota (but still illegal under federal law). This shifting playing field is full of potential land mines for employers who are not up to speed on what is and is not allowed when it comes to cannabis testing, hiring and firing, job safety, and overall company drug and alcohol policies.
