In the midst of the FTC’s ongoing proposal to ban non-competition agreements nationwide, the Minnesota legislature took matters into their own hands and passed a bill banning non-compete agreements in Minnesota. The bill is expected to be signed by Governor Walz and will take effect on July 1, 2023. The new law has broad applicability, but also includes some important exceptions and distinctions that presenter Darren Sharp will explain as he brings us up to speed on the ins and outs of this new law..
