Divorce A to Z Series – 08:
International and Interstate Custody – Jurisdiction and Noncompliance

Originally presented:  November 21, 2017     |     Course length:  1.0 hour

In our global and mobile society, both interstate and international custody issues are becoming ever more commonplace. Yet, these situations pose complex issues that go far beyond the typical single jurisdiction case.

Join Minnesota Divorce Practice Deskbook author and experienced international family law practitioner Valerie Arnold and colleague Micaela Wattenbarger for a review of what you need to know and consider if you are dealing with an interstate or international custody situation. Presenters will discuss how to analyze child custody jurisdiction issues as well as how to address issues of noncompliance.

All attendees will receive a month of free access to the LinkedLaw edition of Minnesota CLE’s Minnesota Divorce Practice Deskbook.
