The ABA has released a groundbreaking and comprehensive report, The Path to Lawyer Well-Being: Practical Recommendations for Positive Change, created by a coalition of entities within and outside the ABA.
The coalition found that “We are at a crossroads. To maintain public confidence in the profession, to meet the need for innovation in how we deliver legal services, to increase access to justice, and to reduce the level of toxicity that has allowed mental health and substance use disorders to fester among our colleagues, we have to act now.” Minnesota Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Executive Director Joan Bibelhausen and Chase Andersen will discuss the ABA report and look at ways to encourage and build on the report’s recommendations.
