The presenter, a Department of Defense ESGR Volunteer Ombudsman, will provide basic training in USERRA and will discuss recent developments and practice tips under the law. Whether accommodating a servicemember suffering from a disability or determining what is the proper “escalator position” to which the employee is entitled under USERRA, this course will provide detailed guidance to comply with federal law governing civilian employment of reserve component servicemembers.
