Research shows that lawyers who are experiencing anxiety have a higher risk of ethical problems. Research also shows that there’s a high level of anxiety in the legal profession. What are the risks that lawyers face, and what are some options to reduce that risk and have a better quality of life? How do you recognize when stress is out of hand and anxiety is at a level that is concerning? How do you reach out to a colleague when you suspect these issues are present? How do we reduce the stigma for those experiencing anxiety so that they can get help?
