Receptionist &
Accreditation Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Receptionist/Accreditation Coordinator
answers the telephone, greets visitors to Minnesota CLE and maintains the
reception area. In addition to performing routine clerical tasks, the
Receptionist/Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for sorting the incoming
deliveries, and for credit application for all Minnesota CLE seminars. The
position requires an individual with a working knowledge of Windows-based
software.
- Answers the telephone and provides callers
with course, registration, publication and general information as requested;
- Takes course registrations and publication
orders over the phone;
- Greets visitors to Minnesota CLE;
- Maintains a neat and organized reception area;
- Orders and maintains supply of coffee, tea,
hot beverage mixes and soft drinks;
- Orders and maintains office supplies inventory
and budget;
- Updates and maintains publication display
shelf and front desk publication inventory;
- Updates and maintains brochure displays, books
and files;
- Prepares and mails CLE course credit history
as requested by registrants;
- Sorts incoming mail;
- Takes mail daily to drop-off in building;
- Receives incoming deliveries and distributes
them or notifies recipients;
- Applies for CLE credit for seminars;
- Maintains credit records and applies for CLE,
CJE, Specialist and other types of credit.
- Maintains reciprocity records and applies for
CLE reciprocity with other states;
- Provides general administrative and clerical
services for CLE;
- Assists with other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
The Receptionist/Accreditation Coordinator must
maintain good attendance, strong dependability, and extreme patience. Because of the direct
interaction with our customers on a daily basis, the Receptionist/Accreditation
Coordinator
must possess good communication skills, maintain a professional and helpful
attitude, and have strong teamwork and interaction skills.
In order to perform effectively at the
Receptionist/Accreditation Coordinator level, the individual must maintain
excellent attendance and sick leave absences cannot exceed 12 days per year.

Proven phone experience and excellence in customer service;
- Administrative or clerical experience;
- Good planning, organization and communication skills;
- Professional manner and attitude;
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and minimum
typing speed of 60 w.p.m.;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Independent, self starter, who is a team player and
works well under deadline pressure;
COMPENSATION &
BENEFITS:
- Starting salary 30K;
- Vacation: Accrue 10 days 1st through 5th year; accrue
15 days 6th through 10th year; accrue 20 days 11th through 19th; accrue 25
for 20 or more years of tenure;
