The Fab Four and Attorney Lies: How the Beatles (and Other Events From Their Generation) Help Us Understand Misrepresentation

There are four rules in the ethics code where attorney misrepresentation is addressed directly. Events of the late 60’s and early 70’s help illustrate those categories of forbidden statements. Whether it was the “Paul is Dead” stunt, Nixon and the Watergate cover-up, or John Lennon’s "We’re more popular than Jesus” faux pax, lies, deception and stupid statements were in abundance in that era. In many cases these stories help illustrate the concepts, but in other cases the events actually helped shape the rules. Join nationally known “CLE Performer” Stuart Teicher, Esq., as he presents this unique, intriguing look at attorney misrepresentation.
