As millennials move into the workforce and baby boomers move out, employers are frequently facing the question of how to appropriately manage employee dress and appearance without running afoul of the law. In this presentation, presenters will discuss key issues involved in the area of appearance-based discrimination, including make-up, physical appearance, tattoos and body piercings, facial and body hair, dress, and symbols, with practical tips for employers to assist in avoiding allegations of appearance-based discrimination.
