		On September 16, 2011, President Obama signed the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (H.R. 1249), the final step in making patent reform a reality. This reform will have profound changes in how patents are obtained and enforced in the United States. 
		David Gross & John Dragseth will discuss the act and the likely changes it will make in IP lawyers’ practices.
