New Law Series: Achieving Fairness and Justice for All – The Work of the Committee for Equality and Justice

The Minnesota Judicial Council created the Committee for Equality and Justice to advance the Judicial Branch’s efforts to eliminate bias in court operations that is based upon race, gender, ethnicity, age, disability, socioeconomic status, religion, sexual orientation, and any other status protected by law. In this presentation, members of the Committee for Equality and Justice will discuss the committee’s current efforts concerning race, gender, sexual orientation and disability and access issues. Presenters will also provide a brief history of the committee.
