Minnesota CLE Online Library – FAQs

1.

What are the system requirements for the Online Library?

We recommend using the latest version of Internet Explorer, but other browsers may work. Chapters, excerpts and forms are presented in PDF format. You will need the free Adobe® Reader® (available for download at http://get.adobe.com/reader/) to access these materials.

2.

May I preview the Online Library before deciding to subscribe?

As long as you have the free Adobe® Reader® (available for download at http://get.adobe.com/reader/), you can conduct searches and view chapter excerpts free of obligation. You will not be able to view content without subscribing to the Online Library or purchasing a chapter or form.

3.

Is the length of my subscription rounded off to the nearest week or month?

No. Your subscription will run one full year, to the day. When you are logged in on our website, your MY CLE CORNER area on the homepage will display the expiration date of your subscription.

4.

My keyword searches are returning far too many results. How can I make them narrower?

We strongly recommend that users exploring the Online Library via the keyword search first click the “IMPORTANT SEARCH TIPS” button found at the top of the search page, as this provides handy reminders on how to narrow searches and make them more efficient and effective.

5.

Are your Deskbooks and Documents Made Easy available on the Online Library?

No, our Deskbooks and Documents Made Easy products are not available through the Online Library. Most of our course materials including chapters and forms that correspond to lectures delivered at live courses are, however, available in electronic format through our Online Library. The most recent versions of these chapters offer the timeliest information available on the topic in question. At the same time, the Online Library offers access to chapters and forms from years past, allowing users to revisit memorable seminar lectures or trace the recent history of a particular issue.
