State Bar Association (MSBA) Members
MSBA members receive a significant discount on nearly every Minnesota CLE
seminar. For rates, see individual course brochures.
New Admittee / New Lawyer
Those admitted to the bar three or fewer years prior to a course may attend
most full-day or multi-day courses at $60 off the MSBA member rate. (This
discount may not be available on select courses. See individual course
brochures for availability.) All new admittees receive free MSBA membership
for 1 year.
Judicial Clerks (first-year attorneys)
Judicial clerks who are first-year attorneys may attend courses at one-half
of the MSBA member rate.
Law Students
Law
students are permitted to attend courses at no charge, on a space-available
basis. Written materials and lunch are not included.
Legal Aid (full-time attorneys and legal assistants)
Full-time attorneys and legal assistants working for legal aid may attend
courses at one-half of the MSBA member rate, upon completion of approval
form from their supervisor.
Legal Assistants and Paralegals
Legal assistants and paralegals may attend courses at the MSBA member rate.
Financial Hardship
Needs-based scholarships are available for many courses under certain
